Description

After a bit of deliberation, we've found a closer approximation of designs (probably many more to come- this is mainly to test the waters)
These versions are depicted as mostly bare and under-equipped as I want to demonstrate the basic shapes and dimensions- as always, I plan to refine any designs that attract any particular interest :)
The guns are basically the same design- I plan to experiment with more designs later. Also what attachments I DID put on are PURELY to show how the space MIGHT be used- they're not 'set-in-stone' intended design features.
MOST importantly- it's a mix-and-match. I've designed all of the turrets, chassis and attachments to be cross-compatible, exchangeable, to be switched or removed at will.

These designs split into two main versions:
A: V1, V2 and V3 are shared-deck designs in which a tall naval-style turret peers straight over the minis. While it makes the vehicle taller than the B variants, it allows a more robust form. On all of the naval turrets I placed a 'hood', to make them more tank-like (these guns do NOT fire upwards like howitzers- they are strictly cannons). Also note- the mini turrets would have a fantastic coverage- able to engage targets to the REAR of the tank (about 230 degree range of fire!)
B: V4 and V5 have 'receded dome' designs- the dome has been scaled back and the turrets placed on a lower foredeck. A shorter tank, but probably less durable. The mini turrets would have a far more limited field of fire as well- barely 120 degrees if lucky)

V1:
The "Blocky" Turret is mimicking the Russian AK-176 naval gun (which is admittedly much smoother- but for this demonstration I omitted this to show the basic geometry- if you like it I'll smooth the edges away).
This is probably the most spacious turret design and probably my favourite. It can effortlessly fit plenty of attachments on its roof and sides- including crew entry hatches (same with the chassis).
I placed a slight catwalk along the side- explaining how the crew can climb up to the turret's entry hatch.

V2:
The "Round" Turret (based off AK130 and 176 guns). Closer to prototypical Soviet tank designs (a dome turret) it takes up far less space, further allowing props (or else even more reach for the mini turrets).
Attachments (like the Aurora) can easily be placed by attaching cylindrical extensions on the dome.
I also attached a round vertical 'shield', which would protect crew trying to get inside as well as the base of the turret from forward fire. It's also another naval-inspired feature from Russian battleships.

V3:
"Mix turret"
Basically taking the above two designs and putting them together. I admit I don't like the way THIS attempt turned out, but I think better refinements are possible!
The turret has a 'weatherproof' coat connecting to the base of the gun.
I have also attached a 'shield' over the mini turrets- admittedly this probably isn't ideal for a shared-deck design, as it would limit the field of fire of the turrets. On a stratified deck it would probably work very nicely.

V4:
Round turret. An extra array of armour panels wrap the turret (smooth plain domes would also potentially look good).
Because it takes up so much space, we can place virtually any features we want on top of it.
This design is intended to be more reminiscent of the Object 416 (with extra turrets).

V5:
A possible example for a triple-barreled design using a single-axis.
I'm a bit iffy about this design- but felt it worthwhile showing it. I deliberately kept everything else the same to show the degree of difference from designs specializing in single-gun versions (surprisingly not much actually).
I personally think three barrels might be better on individual pivots.

Let me know what you think!
